Kenya Premier league (KPL) champions Gor Mahia, for the second time have commanded the lead in the CAF Confederation Cup group D lead in the first round.
Following their 2-0 win against Na Hussein Dey at Moi Sports Centre Kasarani, Gor Mahia now enjoys a two point lead after three matches.
The lead comes following an advantage when Zamalek drew 1-1 were held at home by traveling Petro Atletico.
With such results in Egypt, Gor Mahia now takes charge of the group with six points plus three goals while Atletico sits second with four points without a goal as Na Hussein completes top three with four points too minus one goal and Zamalek tails with two points with -2 goals.
Gor won their opener against Zamalek in a 4-2 goal thriller before going down 2-1 to Atletico and a 2-0 win against Na Hussein Dey yesterday.
