Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia will be hosting Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Shield Cup champions Kariobangi Sharks tomorrow in the KPL day six.
The two teams returns to local football after exiting CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup for Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks respectively.
Gor Mahia was eliminated by Nigeria’s Lobi Stars in 3-3 aggregate with away goal favouring Lobi Stars while Sharks fell to Asante Kotoko of Ghana in a 2-1 aggregate.
New Gor Mahia coach Hassan Oktay will be facing experienced Sharks’ coach Muluya.
In other weekend matches, AFC Leopards will be seeking their first win of the season when they host Vihiga United in Machakos on Saturday, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB)’s clash against Tusker at the same venue, Bandari will host Western Stima at Mbaraki Sports.
