Champions Gor Mahia, Wazito and KCB collected maximum points in today’s Football Kenya Federation Premier League.
Gor edged out bottom placed Mathare United 1-0 at Ruaraka grounds with the only goal scored in the 42nd minute by Lennox Ogutu on-gaol.
Following the win, Gor still remains in the 4th position on 34 points with five less than leaders KCB.
The bankers took the leadership following their 1-0 win over Bidco United 1-0 with the solitary goal scored by Derick Otanga to dislodge Tusker from top spot. Tusker on Tuesday lost by 1-0 to Posta Rangers.
At Utalii grounds in Nairobi, Wazito were 2-0 winners over Kariobangi Sharks.
Kevin Kimani scored first for Wazito and Rooney Onyango doubling to condemn Sharks to their third successive loss in the league.
Former champions AFC Leopards battled from a 2-0 on down to pick a point against their hosts Sofapaka FC to a 2-2 draw at Dawson Mwanyumba Stadium in Wundanyi.
Sofapaka led in the first half with Lawrence Juma bagging a brace in the 1st and 10th minutes before Leopards scored through Elvis Rupia and Austin Odhiambo.
Rupia halved the score in the 18th minute before Odhiambo sealed a point in the 76th minute.
