Kenya’s soccer women team Harambee Starlets will be seeking three wins out of three when they face South Sudan at the ongoing CECAFA Senior Women Challenge Championships in Dar es salaam, Tanzania.
The Beldine Odemba coached side has already two out of two matches, taking the second position on the table with six points and 7 goals behind hosts Tanzania with better goal difference.
Kenya started well with a 4-0 win over Burundi on Saturday before beating champions Uganda 4-0 yesterday ahead of tomorrow’s third match before winding the championships against the hosts.
A win for Kenya and hope Tanzania are at least held by champions Uganda will see them climb to the summit of the log and stay on course to reclaiming the title they last won in 2019.
South Sudan is yet to record a win after losing the opening two matches 4-0 to Tanzania and 5-0 to Uganda.
