Playing for bragging rights and relegation survival battle in Premier League

With Kenya Police already the champions of Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League, focus will be on five teams set to battle for relegation and bragging rights.

When champions Police play then champions Gor Mahia for all bragging rights, Bidco United, Posta Rangers, Nairobi City Stars, Mara Sugar and FC Talanta will be battling to remain in the top flight football in the last matches of the league set for Sunday across the country.

On 32 points, Bidco are at the bottom of the table in 18th position followed by Murang’a Seal in 17th with 34 points, tied with Nairobi City Stars, and Posta Rangers.

FC Talanta on 35 points in the 14th position is not safe because a slip on the final day will earn them relegation.

During weekend fixtures, Bidco will be facing off with 2009 champions Sofapaka with Talanta taking on Murang’a Seal, City Stars face former champions Mathare United as Rangers battle Bandari with Mara Sugar facing Kariobangi Sharks.
