National football team Harambee Stars will return home on Thursday morning after exiting the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cairo, Egypt.
The Sebastian Migne coached side will leave Cairo today at 10:45pm and are expected to land in Kenya at 3:30am.
Stars were eliminated from the tournament after losing 2 out of 3 pool C matches. Kenya won only one match 3-2 against neighbours Tanzania and lost to Africa number one Senegal 3-0 and Algeria 2-0 respectively in the third and first match.
Following the AFCON exit stars will now concentrate on Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) where they’ll begin against Tanzania in the first round this month in Tanzania and return leg in Nairobi next month.
