National soccer men’s team Harambee Stars has gained four places up on the latest FIFA Ranking released today.
The Engin Firat coached side are now ranked position 107 from the previous 111 and this came after winning the Four Nations-Tournament held in Malawi last month.
The Michael Olunga captained team won all their matches before beating Zimbawe 3-1 at the finals.
In the round robin format, Kenya beat hosts Malawi 4-0, 3-1 win over Zimbabwe, however, Uganda still rules East African in position 92, Kenya then Tanzania ranked 119.
Morocco (13), Senegal (17), Nigeria (30), Egypt (37), Ivory Coast (38), Tunisia (41), Algeria (43), Mali, (44), Cameroon (51) and South Africa (59) are the top 10 African countries while Argentina, France, Belgium, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Croatia are the top nations in the world.
