Shujaa, the national men’s 7s team will be facing off with Chile, Portugal and Japan at next month’s final Challenger Sevens leg in Munich, Germany.
Kenya, which won bronze in Uruguay last month will be seeking to reeem their image just like the win in the opening round in Dubai and will be facing off in pool C.
A win will put Shujaa in good stead ahead of the promotion/relegation playoff in Madrid in June.
Kenya are joint top with Uruguay on 36 points with Chile third, Germany and Hong Kong.
Uruguay face Germany, Georgia and Papua New Guinea in Pool ‘A’ while ‘B’ has Hong Kong China, Uganda, Tonga and Mexico.
The top four teams in the Challenger Seven Series will meet the bottom four sides in the World Seven Series in Madrid in an eight-team shootout.
The top four teams from Madrid will earn promotion to the 2024-2025 World Sevens Series season.
