Harambee Stars strikers Abdallah Hassan and Masud Juma scored a goal each as Kenya won their first match in the AFCON qualifiers against Togo in a match played today in Togo.
The Jacob Ghost Mulee led side defeated their hosts 2-1 in the final qualifier despite meaning nothing as they finished third in group G where Egypt lead ahead of Comoros who have already qualified.
Hassan opened the scored in the 32nd minute when he connected well with Kevin Kimani to beat Togolese keeper Nguessan.
Fitting well in the shoes of Michael Olunga, who missed the match after tested positive for coronavirus, the Bandari striker was a thorn in the flesh of their hosts.
Wazito’s Juma doubled the score when he easily converted from the spot kick in the 63rd minute.
