Two time world 5,000m champion Hellen Onsando Obiri retained her Boston Marathon title held today in the USA.
Obiri won the title, leading a podium sweep for Kenyans with compatriots Sharon Lokedi and Edna Kiplagat taking positions two and three repectively.
Obiri sprinted in the last 2km to beat Lokedi in 2:22:37 and 2:22:45 while Kiplagat completed the podium at 2:23:21.
Obiri became the sixth woman to make it back-to-back titles in Boston after winning the New York Marathon last year.
