Kakamega Homeboyz and Nairobi City Stars claimed maximum points at the Kenya Premier League matches played today.
Homeboyz climbed back to the top of the league following their 1-0 victory against Kariobangi Sharks in a league match played at the Utalii grounds with the only goal scored by David Okoth when he converted a penalty in the 55th minute when Sharks defender Fredrick Alushula fouled Stephen Etyang in the box.
Other winners City Stars defeated newbies FC Talanta at the Nyayo stadium with 1-2 victory. Anthony Kimani and Syven Yidah scored for the winners with Edwin Lavatsa scoring the consolation.
Other newbies Kenya Police picked a point against their hosts Bandari fc at the Mbaraki stadium with a barren draw, however Ulinzi Stars vs Sofapaka failed to kick-off with later claiming the ambulance was not well equipped.
