Hot Bandari beat Rangers, Talanta and Nation in pre-season friendlies

Kenya premier league side Bandari FC continued with their winning ways in the ongoing pre-season friendly matches across the country.

Today, the Coast based club extended their winning ways by beating FC Talanta 3-1 at Public Service grounds.

Benjamin Mwosha began the goal marathon for Bandari in the 16th minute before Talanta’s Alex Lughanji leveled in the 21st minute.

William Wadri scored the second for Bandari with a 2-1 lead and Ugandan import bagged a brace in the 78th minute.

Bandari are set to kick off their premier league campaign against Kenya Police at Nyayo National Stadium on September 10 before returning home to face Wazito on September 22.

Yesterday, the dockers defeated fellow league players Posta Rangers in their pre-season friendly match played at the Camp Toyoyo.

The Anthony Kimani coached side were 4-1 winners against Rangers ahead of the league set to kick off next month across the country.

Bandari’s new signing James Kinyanjui scored first in the first minute before Chris Ochieng doubled the lead in the 17th minute with Abdallah Hassan scoring the third in the 42nd minute for a 3-0 lead at the break.

Another new signing Enoch Momanyi scored the 4th in the 73rd minute while Rangers’ consolation came from Francis Nambute in the 80th minute for interim coach Charles Omondi for the 4-1 win at the last whistle.
