Shujaaa, the national rugby sevens team won their last pool match against Wales at the Toulouse sevens today to drop to Challenge Trophy.
Kenya’s Herman Humwa touched down twice for the newly appointed coach to beat Wales 19-14 in their last Pool B.
Despite the win, Kenya missed on the main cup quarterfinals after losing the opening match to Olympic champions Fiji 29-05 and hosts France 38-14 yesterday.
Kenya went ahead through Humwa’s try that was well converted by Anthony Omondi for Shujaa a 7-0 as Ewan Rosser’s converted try leveled the score and Humwa doubled the try as Omondi added the extras for 14-07 lead with Billy Odhiambo adding unconverted try for 19-07 and Luke Treharne converted try to end in 19-14.
