Ayub Masika Timbe has been ruled out of the Kenya vs Ghana, the last match of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers set for March 22nd in Accra.
Timbe who plays for Beijing Renhe had a successful knee surgery at Belgium Hospital and ruled out of for three months.
The 26-year-old, who has five goals in 17 appearances for Harambee Stars could return in May to join the squad ahead of aFCON championships set for Egypt in June for the 2019 continental showpiece for the first time in 15 years.
This comes after Timbe has served a three-match suspension from the Confederation of African Football (Caf) for indecency during the 2-1 defeat away to Sierra Leone on June 10th.
