Former world half marathon record holders Joyciline Jepkosgei and Kibiwott Kandie were the champions of Barcelona half marathon held today in Barcelona, Spain.

Experienced Jepkosgei won the women’s title in 64:27 in a course record followed by Senbere teferi (64:38) and Kenyan Gladys Chepkurui (66:32).
In women, Kandie won the title in 59:20 ahead of Swedish Andreas Almgren (59:22) and Kenyan rencer Kipkorir at 59:27.
