Famous for Kadenge Na Mpira, legendary Kenyan football icon Joe Kadenge has made his last call.
According to his son Oscar, the Kenya’s greatest footballer of all time, has passed on at the Meridian hospital in Nairobi as his body is set to be transferred to Lee Funeral Home.
Football kenya Federation (FKF) president Nick Mwendwa eulogyzed the lengenadry saying “I am saddened by the passing on of Kenyan football legend Joe Kadenge”.
According to a ooficial communication Mwendwa said “His contribution and dedication to the game will forever be remembered and cherished both within and across our borders.”
“On my own behalf and that of the entire Kenya football fraternity, I wish to send my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Kadenge.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you at these trying times, may you find solace in the memories.”
