Nakuru captain John Kamais won his maiden title at the Nyanza Open, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) series at the par 72 Nyanza Open today.
Popularly called Hippo Pot, Kamais fired nine over par 219 in the three day tournament to emerge victorious ahead of Kenya team captain John Lejirma who managed eleven over par 221 and and Nyali’s John Timbe completing the top three with +12 222 tied with John Koina of Muthaiga and Ugandan Josepj Kasozi.
