Fresh from finishing second at the Sunshine Tour, team Kenya Captain John Lejirma won the Ruiru Open, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) title at the par 73 Ruiru golf club.
The on-form Lejirma successfully defended his title in the three day championships that teed off on Friday to today to take the overall lead with 1,555 points beating Vet lab’s Ebill Omollo.
Coming from Royal, Nairobi, Lejirma fired nine under par 210 with a great score today with three under par 70.
