Former Commonwealth Games javelin champion will highlight the Paavo Nurmi Games, the World Athletics Continental Tour Gold set for tonight in Turku, Finland.
The 2015 world javelin champion, who last won the Motonet Grand Prix last week in Lahti will be hoping to extend his winning ways in Finland.
Yego managed position 9 at the Doha Diamond League then 5th place at the Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi then victory at Motonet Grand Prix as part of his preparations for the World Athletics championships in Tokyo, Japan.
He will be up against Olympic medallist Keshorn Walcott, Poland’s Marcin Krukowski and Cyprian Mrzygłód, Latvia’s Gatis Čakšs, Eemil Porvari and Toni Keränen.
