Junior Starlets, the National under 17 Women’s team dominated against Uganda Teen Cranes to advance in the third and final round of 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
Coached by Mildred Cheche, they played to a barren draw at the Nyayo National stadium to gain advantage against Sheryl Bote side Uganda following a 1-1 draw in last weekend’s encounter in Uganda.
The Junior Starlets will now face the winner between South Africa and Tanzania in the final round and the aggregate winner to qualify for the FIFA World Cup set for Morocco in October.
