Kabras, KCB remain ruthless as Pirates and Nakuru match is abandoned

Champions Kabras Sugar and former champions KCB RFC remained ruthless against their opponents  in battle for Kenya Cup title as South Coast Pirates and Nakuru is called off.

Taking advantage of homeground, Kabras humiliated Kenyatta University side Blak Blad 65-6 at their Kakamega ASK Showground base while KCB were 38-16 winners over Kenya Harlequins at the KCB Sports Ground in Nairobi.

In Mombasa, at the Diani, the match between hosts South Coast Pirates failed to be played to the end following Nakuru RFC’s protest over poor officiating.

Before the game was halted, the hosts were leading 17-0 when the match was abandoned in the 10th minute.

Strathmore University Side, the Leos recorded their second win against former champions Impala Saracens 21-14 at the Impala grounds while Menengai Oilers remained unbeaten with a 35-24 win over Nondescripts.
