Kabras Sugar defeated KCB RFC to win the Kenya Cup title during the final match played at the Kakamega ASK Showground yesterday.
The sugar millers won 29-05 to win the title for the third time in a row to join other top clubs like Kenya Harlequin, Nondies, and KCB Rugby.
The Carlos Katywa coached side remained unbeaten in 26 matches who started their score in the third minute through Walter Okoth converted try by Ntabeni Dukisa for 7-0 lead before extending the lead to through a penalty try from Kevin Wekesa.
Dukisa made the third try and converting for 22-0 at water break.
KCB made unconverted try through Shujaa captain Vincent Onyala for 22-05 with Darwin Mukidza’s failing to convert as the champions scored their 4th try through Brian Tanga that Dukisa converted for a 29-05 victory.
