KAGC leader Maranga in search of points at Coronation trophy in Nakuru

Top amateur golfers will head to par 73 Nakuru golf club for Coronation Trophy and Bendor, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) series that resumes this weekend.

The 54-hole meeting tees off on Saturday with 36 holes befotre ending on Sunday where the battle will be on 18 holes in the first Kenya Golf Union (KGU) sanctioned meeting after sports resumption.

Series leader Michael Karanga will be in action to try and cement top position.

The Kaimbu based golfer, Karanga leads the KAGC series with 165 points after winning both at Sigona Bowl and Mt Kenya Open Championship in Nyeri.

He will be up against Muthaiga Open Limuru Country Club’s Paul Muchangi and Dennis Maara, Kenya Amateur Match Play champion Isaac Makokha from Vet Lab, and Nanyuki Sports Club’s Peter Rimui.
