Fresh from losing their opportunity to win Kenya Premier League title, Kakamega Homeboyz has fired their head coach Bernard Mwalala.
Club’s chairman Cleophas Shimanyula admitted that Mwalala and his entire technical team have been shown the door with goalkeeper trainer David Juma retained and will be in-charge team on an interim basis.
The former Harambee Stars player led Homeboyz to a second-place after losing the title to champions Tusker.
Mwalala took over from Nicholas Muyoti.
