Former Kenya Premier League side Shabana FC has been handed three points against Fortune Sacco as National Super League promotion battle continues.
Today, the Football Kenya Federation Transition Committee handed Shabana maximum points against Fortune in a botched match played on 1st June at Kianyaga Stadium that was called off due to Madaraka Day celebrations.
“From the foregoing, the FKF-TC notifies both clubs that Fortune Sacco forfeits the match in favour of Shabana FC pursuant to rule 3.3.2 of the FKF rules and regulations. Consequently, Shabana is awarded three points and two goals” the ruling signed by the FKF-TC head of secretariat Lindah Oguttu read in part
With the three points, Shabana moves to third position on 53 points from 32 matches while Fortune remains second on 60 points with Administration Police Services- (APS) Bomet leading the table on 63 points after 31 matches.
