Kakamega replaces Sepetuka as Rugby7s series dates announced

Kakamega7s rugby meet has replaced Sepetuka7s that takes place ion Eldoret.

Today, Kenya Rugby Union announced the dates for the 2019 series with Kakamega being the first meeting in the six meetings encounter.

Kakamega, will be hosted by Western Bulls and Kabras Sugar who will organize this year’s opener replaces Sepetuka sevens that was held by Homeboyz in Eldoret.

Kabeberi 7s, hosted by Mwamba RFC, will be the second stop before the first break. Kisumu RFC and Top Fry Nakuru are set to host 3rd and 4th legs -Dala 7s and Prinsloo 7s respectively.

The prestigious Christie 7s will be the penultimate leg at Kenya Harlequin’s RFUEA Grounds while Mombasa will stage the final leg, Driftwood 7s on Sep 7 and 8.

Homeboyz are the national sevens circuit defending champions. 

20th/21st July – Kakamega 7s, Bull Ring Kakamega

27th/28th July – Kabeberi7s, RFUEA Grounds

3rd/4th August – BREAK

10th/11th August – Dala 7s, Mamboleo Showground ASK

17th/18th August – Prinsloo7s, Nakuru Athletics Club

24th/25th August – BREAK

31st August/1st September – Christie7s, RFUEA Grounds

7th/8th September – Driftwood7s, Mombasa Sports Club
