Handicap 17 golfer Kamau Watunu defied his age to win the Pannar Seed Golf tournament played today on nine hole Eldoret golf course.
Playing on home ground, watunu carded solid 39 stable ford points to claim the title ahead of counterpart Patrick Kiprono who lost by a point to 38. Handicap 15 golfer Kiprono also edged out Nandi Bears Golfer Stanley Miningwo by a point to 37 to complete the podium.
Watunu dropped a shot in the hole first nine but luck came in handy in hole 13th when he sunk a birdie par five to boost his winning ways before winding up with pars on 17th and 18th after he fired all bogeys in all holes.
