KCB on top as Bandari, Sofapaka, Gor win

Bandari FC, former champions Sofapaka, KCB and Gor Mahia won all their matches in today’s Premier league matches played across the country.

Bandari FC came from  a goal down to beat then leaders Tusker 2-1 at their backyard, Mbaraki stadium.

Robert Matano’s Tusker went ahead Rogers Aloro before Casa Mbungo’s Bandari levelled through Hassan Iddi and Johanna Mwita sealed the victory to pick maximum points.

Derrick Otanga scored a brace as KCB returned to the summit of the table with a win over Western Stima.

The win for bankers propelled to them to the podium of the table with 57 points, while Tusker, who lost to 2-1 to Bandari are on 54 points.

Mathare United defeated Kariobangi Sharks 3-2 at the Thika Stadium to move two places past bottom Vihiga United and 16th placed Western Stima.

Daniel Otieno late to seal the 2008 champions win against Sharks.

Geoffrey Onyango and Peter Lwasa scored for Sharks in the 17th and 53rd minutes, while Klinsman Jumaan and John Mwangi also scored for the Slum Boys in the 45th and 66th minute respectively.

Sydney Ochieng scored the lonely goal as champions Gor Mahia beat Kakamega Homeboyz win 1-0  at Thika.
