Former champions KCB were the biggest casualties at the Prinsloo 7s after missing out on the main cup quarterfinals.

The bankers, together with Kabras Prinsloo champions and overall 7s champions as well as leaders Kenya Harlequins were battling for the title but the race remains with the two teams.
