Long wait for Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) to win their National rugby sevens title came to an end today after winning their title at the Driftwood sevens in Mombasa.
The bankers were crowned the national champions, the title they last won in 2014 after beating Impala 26-21.
KCB who won the opener at Kakamega, followed with Dala sevens, Christie and today’s Driftwood when they bagged 22 to finish the series with 116 points.
Prinsloo and Kabeberi 7s champions Mwamba finished second at 92 points while defending champions Homeboyz also ganared at 92 to finished third.
Nakuru secured fourth place at 90 points while Driftwood 7s losing finalists Impala Saracens finished 5th with 81 points after bagging 19 in Mombasa.
Oilers also had 81 points to finish 6th, Nondies settled for 7th with 68 while MMUST closed the top 8 with 50 points.
