The Africa women sevens champions landed the Dubai invitation following their victory against Uganda Lady Cranes at the Africa championships to earn the invitation. The new call ups are Stella Wafula, Anne Gorety and Christabel Tata all from the Standard Chartered Impala Ladies.

Wambua’s charges are in Pool A alongside Ireland, Russia and the Glendale Champions, New Zealand. Glendale is the first leg of the Women’s Sevens Series.
