Kenyan women rugby side Kenya Lionesses were crowned the champions of 2019 Elgon Cup following their home and away victory against Uganda women side Crane Ladies.
The Felix Ochieng led team defeated their hosts 05-35 to claim the title on 99-18 aggregate.
Kenya won the opening leg 44-13 in a match played on 22nd at Kisumu’s Mamboleo Showground.
Despite Uganda playing on homeground at Kyadondo, Lady Cranes failed to dominate only making one unconverted try for 05-35 loss to the visiting side.
