Kenya will be using home advantage in the Zone Five All Africa Games qualifiers at the Kasarani Gymnasium that serves off this Monday.
With Ethiopia and Sudan withdrawing from the championships, there will be five teams in the tournament headed by hosts Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and favourites Egypt in the round robin with the winner booking for the All Africa Games ticket in Rabat Morocco in August.
The Moses Epoloto led charges will begin their title chase against Tanzania on Monday according to the draws released by the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) today.
On Tuesday, they will battle Uganda followed by Egypt on Thursday and the finish their matches on Friday against Rwanda.
In other fixture, Egypt play Uganda as Rwanda will be resting on the opening day before taking on Tanzania on Tuesday.
If men wins, they will join Malkia Strikers in Morocco. Malkia won all their matches in Uganda without dropping a set.
