Kenya Police Bullets edge out Denden for CECAFA semis

Kenya Women Premier League champions Kenya Police Bullets edged out Eritrean side Denden at the ongoing CAF Champions league qualifiers in a match played at the Nyayo National stadium today.

The Beldine Odemba coached side won 2-0 to seal the semifinal slot with Emily Kemunto followed by Zaina Namuleme to seal the victory in the CECAFA championships.

The win was Police’s second of the Cecafa region tourney following their opener against Uganda’s Kampala Queens on Sunday evening where they won by a solitary strike.

Bullets will now take on either South Sudan’s Yei Joint Stars or Tanzania’s JKT Queens in the semis.

The two will then play at the finals with the winners qualifying for the CAF Women Champions league slot.
