FC Barcelona defeated Compel Youth to win the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Bungoma Branch title during the mini league encounter at the Bungoma High School ground on Sunday September 7th 2025.
Following a barren draw in normal time, Barcelona converted three penalties for a 3-0 victory with Compel losing all their three opening penalties.
With the victory, Barcelona pocketed c Ksh100,000 prize money in the eight team mini-league played on two days.
Dennis Simiyu, the FKF Bungoma Branch Chairman said they staged one of the best finals wwere good with all the eightteams qualifying to playing in the region league come next season.
At the semifinals, the champions beat Kanzu 3-0 while Compel beat Lutungu 3-2 at the same venue.
