Kenya Police Bullets retain Women Premier League title with victory over Trinity Starlets

Kenya Police Bullets have successfully retained the Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL) title following their 4-0 victory over Trinity Starlets in a match played today at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

The Beldine Odemba coached side have so far won two titles after last year’s victory and in 2024/2025 season, Bullets managed to garner 46 points after playing 21 matches, winning 13, drawing 7 and losing 1.

The champions started off the winning ways in the 44th minute when Emily Moranga scored for a 1-0 lead into the break.

On resumption, an on-goal by Leah Andiena’s deflected shot from Rebecca Okwaro for 2-0.

The instrumental Okwaro managed to score two goals, in the 68th and 85th minutes and that win will see Bullets compete at the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Women Africa Champions League.

Apart from the brace today, Okwaro is poised to earn the golden boot with 16 goal of the season.  

At the Ulinzi Sports Club Nairobi, hosts Ulinzi Starlets were 4-0 winners over Kisumu AllStarlets to finish the league in second.
