Former Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions Mathare United will play against Chemelil Sugar, the first match following the two week break in the FIFA calendar.
The Friday tie at Machakos stadium will be a litmus test for both teams sides having lost once this season.
Mathare last won against Chemelil came in April 2016 while Chemelil’s last win over Mathare came in August 2014 as other league matches between the two sides in that period have ended all even.
As the round eight begins, reigning KPL champions will host new comers Vihiga United at Moi stadium, Kisumu.
