Kenya Premier League: Jacques Tuyisenge saves Gor Mahia

Jacques Tuyisenge came off the bench to score the only goal for Gor Mahia to earn maximum points against visiting Wazito FC in today’s Kenya Premier League (KPL) at Machakos Stadium.

The KPL defending champions have narrowed the gap between them and leaders Mathare United as Tuyisenge, who replaced Lawrence Juma in the 63rd minute aided Gor Mahia with their third consecutive match.

This was the second time Tuyisenge has saved the 16 time champions. On Saturday, the Rwandese international scored a lone goal as Gor Mahia beat visiting Supersport in the CAF Confederation Cup round one at the same venue.

Dylan Kerr led team will be travelling to Pretoria South Africa over the weekend to play hosts Supersport. But league debutants led by Frank Ouna put up their best team as they sought out a fourth win of the season.
