Champions Kenya Prisons recovered from General Service Unit (GSU) loss yesterday to beat KAPU at the third round of the men’s Kenya Volleyball federation (KVF) National league at the Nyayo stadium.
At the same time, GSU Edges Past Kenya Army in Competitive encounter, winning in straight sets of 21-25, 21-25 and 23-25. The Kenya Army put up a spirited fight but fell short against a well-drilled GSU side at the Nyayo Basketball Court with immediate champions firing power and composure secured victory.
The win for the paramilitary side wwas good following their 3-2 (25-19, 20-25, 23-25, 25-11, 15-13) win against champions Kenya Prisons yesterday at the same venue.
At the same time, Trailblazers recovered from their two losses to Rift Valley and Western Prisons yesterday and Friday to beat National Youth Service (NYS) in straight sets of 25-13 25-14 and 25-13 for their second win.
Rift Valley Prisons lost in straight sets of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-23 to Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).

In another match, Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) cruised past Western Prisons in straight sets of 25-20, 25-20, 25-22.
