Kenya Simbas fall to Namibia again in Africa Rugby World Cup qualifiers

Kenya Simbas, the national rugby15s lost to Namibia at the finals of Africa Rugby World Cup direct slot played yesterday in France.

Kenya, who beat Algeria to reach finals against Namibia went down 36-0 to give Namibia a direct slot to the rugby world cup to join other 16 teams that have already qualified for the 2023 World Cup to be held in France.

The Paul Odera coached team will now focus on repechage tournament in November.

It was the 12th time Namibia shone against Kenya and Wian Conradie  touched down a hat-trick of tries, centre and skipper Johan Daysel scored Namibia’s other try as fly-half Clive Loubser made two conversions and four penalties to catapult Namibia to the seventh consecutive Rugby World Cup appearance.
