Kenya teams on the losing end at the Junior Africa Cup (JAC) Windhoek

It was a bad day for Kenyan teams, losing all their matches at the ongoing Junior Africa Cup (JAC) at the Davin Trustco Hockey Stadium in Windhoek, Namibia.

Today, all men and women teams lost their matches. In women,  Kenya lost 4-0 to South Africa, while men’s team lost 5-3 to hosts Namibia.

Winless Kenya went down first through Paris-Gail Isaacs before Paige Salis doubled the score to 2-0.

As Kenyans went to strike, they were found flatfooted when captain caylin Maree made it 3-0 as Amber Fairon sealed the 4-0 win.

Kenya women have now lost two, drawing one and they face Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In men, Kenya lost 5-3 to Namibia. Kenya started the score with Gideon Mungai as John-Paul Britz leveling for the hosts.

James de Jager added the second goal for 2-1 then Jack Fourie made it 3-1 before Vincent Wesonga scored to make it 3-2 into break.

Abraham Graham made it 4-2 as Tarankabir Bhamra scored the third goal for Kenya for 4-1 but Blitz sealed the 5-3 win.
