Kenya will be hosting the 2019 Rugby Junior Barthes Trophy according to Rugby Africa.
Nairobi will be hosting the continental under 20 with teams from Namibia, Kenya’s Chipu, Senegal and Tunisia. Zimbabwe and Madagascar were relegated from Pool A, the top tier, to second division with Senegal and Tunisia replacing them after the 2018 campaign.
The Pool A winner will qualify for the 2019 Junior World Rugby Trophy set for Estádio Martins Pereira in São José dos Campos, Brazil from July 9 until 21 July.
Zimbabwe will host second division of the Africa under-20, also known as Pool B, in April next year. Morocco, Madagascar and Ivory Coast will join the hosts in the week long competition whose winner will be promoted to Pool A.
Rugby Africa is yet to announce the host of third division(Pool C) matches.
