Kenya is set to host the 2026 Rugby Africa Women championships at the RFUEA Grounds come May.
The Kenya Rugby Union confirmed yesterday that the women’s continental champions will take place from May 21st to May 31st where four nations will battle out for the title.
Kenya as the host will be joined by Madagascar, South Africa and neighbours Uganda that will be played in a round robin format.
This will offer a chance for the Kenya Lionesses, the national women’s rugby 15s team to showcase talent to home fans.
According to the fixtures, South Africa will open the tournament against Madagascar on May 23rd before Kenya play Uganda in the East Africa derby.
Come May 27th, South Africa tackle Uganda then Kenya battle Madagascar and come May 31st Uganda hosts Madagascar with Kenya completing the tournament against South African.
