Kenya to open Africa Junior handball championships against Angola

Kenya will be opening their Africa junior Women Junior handball Championships tomorrow against Angola at the Monastir, Tunisia.

With 10 nations in the tournament, Kenya leads pool A ahead of the World Under-20 Championships.

The Kenya juniors qualified for the continental showpiece after deflating Tanzania 34-16 at their Dar es Salaam backyard.

After Angola, the team will then take on Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday, Ivory Coast on Saturday and wind up the pool against Guinea on Sunday.

Pool B has hosts Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Madagascar and Mali.

Four top teams will book their tickets to the World Junior Championships.
