Kenya Volleyball appoints Geoffrey Omondi as Malkia Strikers coach

Kenya Volleyball Federation has announced the appointment of Geoffrey Omondi as the new Malkia Strikers, the national women volleyball team head coach.

Omondi, who has been serving as Kenya Pipeline women team head coach, will now serve as the national head coach replacing Japheth Munala.

In a communication from the federation, it read: “The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) is pleased to announce the appointment of the coaching staff for the upcoming season. Following a thorough selection process, the federation has entrusted the following individuals with leading and shaping the future of our teams.”

Omondi will be assisted by David Muthui and Esther Chepkosgei

At the same time, the federation has appointed Azenga Mavisi as team trainer.

“The Kenya Volleyball Federation congratulates the new coaching team and looks forward to a successful season ahead,” read the statement.
