Kenyan golfers take a two point lead at Victoria Cup

Kenyan Golfers enjoyed the second day taking a two point lead at the ongoing Victoria Cup golf Tournament in Uganda in the Four Ball Better Ball on par 72 Uganda golf club.

Kenya as the defending champions will start on Saturday with high spirit in the final round singles with a two-point advantage over hosts Uganda in the tournament sponsored by former Boston Marathon Moses Tanui.

Former Kenyan captain Robinson Owiti paired well William Odera to beat Uganda’s Daniel Baguma and Rodell Gaita followed by Simon Njogu and Mathew Wahome who halved Dennis Adaba and Jakisa Emmanule, before Korby Gatiramu and Daniel Kiragu won against Uganda’s Michael Alunga and Grace Kasango.

Samuel Njoroge and Mutahi Kibugu beat Joseph Chinywaai and Godfrey Nsubuga.
