Kenyans Teresiah kwamboka Omosa and Laban Kipngetich Korir were the winners of today’s Kigali marathon held in Kigali, Rwanda.
Kenyans dominated the races in both men and women claiming top positions. As kwamboka led the women, she won won in 2:37:12 leading Ethiopian Chala kebene to second after clocking 2:37:29 and compatriot Ivyne Jeruto Lagat completing the podium at 2:38:14.
In men, Korir won in 2:18:26 beating Kenyan born turned American Langat Kipkurui to second at 2:19:00 with Ethiopian Temechachu Mamo tadese to third position in 2:21:01.
