Kiambu Golf Club will be hosting the 10th leg of NCBA Golf Series this Saturday where over 170 golfers are expected to tee off at 6:44 am.
The bank’s managing director John Gachora said: “We are delighted to be holding the tenth event in our 2021 NCBA Golf Series calendar this weekend at the Kiambu Golf Club. It’s a confirmation of the tournament’s continued success and a great display of the warm partnership between NCBA and these golf courses.”
“We look forward to the challenge which the Kiambu Golf Club course will offer and believe that every golfer present will have a memorable occasion.”
Thika, Vetlab, Kitale, Sigona, Mombasa, Nyali, Nyeri, Nanyuki, and Karen Clubs have played host to the Series, with the cumulative participation of over 1,200 golfers across the Series. Winners from these events will battle it out for the outright Series bragging rights at a Series Finale to be played later this year at the Karen Country Club.
Later this month, the Bank will host its first Junior Golf Clinic and tournament at the Karen Country Club as part of the Series and as it seeks to help nurture golf talent at a nascent age in collaboration with Kenya’s Junior Golf Foundation and the United States Kids Golf Association.
