It will be another Kenyan friendly battle in men’s 3,000m race at the Lievin World Indoor Championships in France when Nicholas Kimeli take on Jacob Krop.
The Kenyan pair will be up against Ethiopians led by Olympic 10,000m champion Selemon Barega and silver medallist Lamecha Girma.
Others on the list include Spaniard Mohamed Katir, who was a revelation on the international circuit last year, setting Spanish records for 1500m (3:28.76), 3000m (7:27.64), and 5000m (12:50.79).
Olympic 1500m champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen will once again get his season underway in Lievin, just as he did last year.
