Kiminini Combined became the first team to be promoted to the National Super League following its victory against GFE 105 on today’s match played at the Eldoret ASK Showground.
The Trans Nzoia based team shone away to GFE 105 with a 2-0 win to seal the slot with four matches left in Division 1 league when Gregory Agesa’s brace sealed the promotion.
With the victory, Kiminini leads the table on 59 points, 15 ahead of GFE 105, effectively ending the Zone C title race.
The Yohanna Wanyama-coached side grants them direct promotion to Division One zonal winners after winning 18 of their 24 matches, drawing five and suffering just one defeat.
